REHM Foundation

01. Problem Statement

Founded by Robert McKenzie, REHM Foundation is a 501 (c)3 nonprofit dedicated to supporting at-risk children via education, toy drive donations, and mental health counseling/advocacy initiatives. In order to attract more donors and sponsors (dedicated to supporting REHM’s cause), Robert first needed to upgrade to a modernized, brand appropriate, and donor-responsive website first!

02. Donation Friendly App Installation

Design With Artisan implemented a donor-responsive fundraising application into REHM’s website, which syncs right to its organizational PayPal. Quick, convenient, and effective for donors, board members, and partners to utilize (and share)!

03. Social Media Creation and Nonprofit Fundraising Recommendations

Our team felt that creating an integrated Instagram account for REHM (with relevant industry-appropriate posts) would supplement www.erehm.org‘s SEO strategy – as well as generating consistent, engaging content for the nonprofit. With such a compelling mission statement (mental health advocacy and toy drive donations for at-risk children), it was important to implement a ubiquitous development appeal. Lastly, based on Bruce’s nonprofit consultative background, we drew up a fundraising strategy for Robert and REHM’s board to consider! 

Three “3” standard actionable items that we typically recommend for nonprofits to consider:

– Increase your board of directors, both number of trustees and overall engagement level (Give or Get).

– Plan both friend-raising AND fundraising events (geared towards younger patrons)

–  Leverage a participatory fundraising messaging to donors, volunteers, and prospects (“Every donation, no matter how small or large, makes a direct impact on our mission!”). Participatory fundraising is essential to broadening your nonprofit’s base of support.
